Bootscharter in Kuba · Lagoon 450 Fly in Cienfuegos / Marlin Marina Cienfuegos — “Mariano” — (2017)

Moored at Marlin Marina in Cienfuegos, Mariano sits ready to explore Cuba's southern coast—a 13.96-metre Lagoon 450 Fly with the beam and shallow draft that opens up everything from the UNESCO-protected Bay of Pigs to secret anchorages in the Canarreos Archipelago. From Cienfuegos, you're minutes from colonial architecture and hours from pristine reefs that most visitors never reach. Living aboard works for groups and families. Six cabins, four bathrooms, and ten berths mean no one shares a bunk unless they choose to, and the layout splits privacy from social space. Below deck, the saloon gives bad-weather shelter with 360-degree views; above, the flybridge is your command centre for navigation and the best seat for sunset. The trampolines between the hulls become a gathering point—safe from the wind, lulled by the Caribbean. Forward, the foredeck stays dry thanks to the catamaran's ride; it's pure openness for swimming or simply lying down with the horizon. Two hulls give you stability at anchor that a monohull cannot match. No rolling when you're reading, eating, or sleeping. That shallow draft means you can tuck into bays where charter boats don't go, approaching beaches and reefs closely enough to step ashore. With your own vessel for seven days, Cienfuegos becomes a home base rather than a port—you set the pace, choose the anchorages, and come and go with the wind.
