Boat charter in French Polynesia · Lagoon 380 S2 in Papeete, Tahiti / Papeete — “Poe Maia” — (2017)

From Papeete's busy harbor, Poe Maia opens a week of exploration across French Polynesia's most beautiful waters. The Lagoon 380 S2 carries you from the Society Islands into the turquoise lagoons and atoll systems beyond, with a hull design that makes shallow-draft cruising second nature. Where deeper-keeled boats run aground, you slip through into the kind of anchorages that define South Pacific sailing—close to white-sand beaches and reef walls alive with color. Living aboard is straightforward and comfortable. Three cabins sleep six guests, each with privacy and natural light, while two full bathrooms let groups avoid the morning queue. The saloon feels open and bright thanks to the catamaran's wide beam, serving equally well for morning coffee, afternoon rest, or evening meals. Twin hulls mean genuine stability at anchor—no rolling in a swell—and a cockpit positioned to catch both trade winds and every sunset view. The foredeck and trampolines give you space to move freely, sunbathe, or simply sit and watch the reef beneath the water. Twin Yammer engines and modern sail handling make Poe Maia straightforward to operate, whether you're bareboat sailing or working with a professional skipper. The catamaran's shallow draft and seaworthy design handle the passages between islands reliably, while the spacious deck layout transforms downtime into genuine relaxation. This is how modern catamaran chartering works: room for a family or group, the agility to reach quiet anchorages, and the stability to let you enjoy every moment.
