Boat charter in French Polynesia · Excess 11 in Papeete, Tahiti / Papeete — “Mara’amu” — (2023)

Papeete's position in the Society Islands makes it the natural gateway to French Polynesia's most rewarding cruising grounds, and Mara'amu puts that advantage in your hands. This 2023 Excess 11 accommodates eight guests across four cabins—each with its own berth arrangement—plus two bathrooms, giving your group genuine privacy after active days exploring turquoise lagoons and coral atolls. Below deck, the layout maximizes living space through clever design: cabins run fore and aft along both hulls, the saloon occupies the bridge between them with unobstructed sightlines, and the galley sits centrally for easy provisioning. The cockpit flows naturally from this living heart, offering shade and seating for those who prefer the breeze to air conditioning. Above, twin trampolines on the foredeck create an irresistible gathering spot, while the broad sidemembranes of the dual hulls give you safe working room. Twin hulls solve the practical challenges of lagoon cruising. You'll maintain level bearing at anchor without rolling, allowing deeper sleep and easier cooking in the galley. The shallow draft lets you slip into bays and approach beaches that monohull charterers must admire from a distance. The beam—that generous width between hulls—translates to interior cabin volume and a spacious saloon where eight people can sit together without crowding. From Papeete, you can sail to Moorea or Bora Bora, thread the Tuamotu Atolls, or cruise the Leeward Islands on your own schedule, with all the comfort and independence that bareboat sailing offers.
