Bootscharter in Guadeloupe · Lagoon 46 in Guadeloupe / Pointe-à-Pitre / Marina Bas-du-Fort — “Westerlund (PTP)” — (2020)

Departing from Marina Bas-du-Fort in Guadeloupe's sheltered harbor, Westerlund (PTP) positions you perfectly for bareboat sailing across the Leeward Islands. This 2020 Lagoon 46 cuts through conditions that would challenge monohulls, its twin hulls delivering the stability you need when anchored off quiet beaches or rocky outcrops where single-hulled boats would swing and heave. The catamaran's shallow draft opens up anchorages that deeper-keeled vessels cannot reach—sandy bays, reef-protected shallows, and the narrow approaches to isleta settlements where the real Caribbean reveals itself. Four cabins and four full bathrooms mean no negotiation over sleeping arrangements or queuing for showers; each guest gets genuine privacy and comfort after a day exploring. The main saloon and cockpit become your gathering spaces, social hubs where the group connects each evening. Wide trampolines at the bow belong to Lagoon's design language—they're lounging platforms with views that justify themselves a hundred times over, and the foredeck offers safe working space when conditions demand more focus. Below deck, the cabin layout balances couple's retreats with practical efficiency. The galley sits ready for provisioning at Pointe-à-Pitre's markets, and the catamaran's beam creates genuine interior volume rather than narrow corridors. From this base, a week's sailing reaches the Saintes, Marie-Galante, and beyond, each offering distinct anchorages and character. The two hulls do the work—keeping you stable, enabling shallow exploration, and giving twelve people room to sail together without compromise.
