Bootscharter in Guadeloupe · Lagoon 42 in Guadeloupe / Pointe-à-Pitre / Marina Bas-du-Fort — “Copernicus (PTP)” — (2020)

Moored at Marina Bas-du-Fort in Pointe-à-Pitre, Copernicus (PTP) sits ready for a week exploring Guadeloupe's archipelago. This 2020 Lagoon 42 is built for groups and families who want space without compromise. Four cabins and four bathrooms mean everyone has privacy; the saloon stretches across both hulls, giving you room to gather or scatter depending on the moment. The cockpit flows naturally from here, open to the breeze, while the trampolines and foredeck offer that rare combination of relaxation and vantage point—perfect for spotting reefs or simply watching the water change color as you move between anchorages. The twin hulls do the real work. You'll feel it immediately at anchor: Copernicus (PTP) sits rock-solid without swinging, a stability that turns swimming and snorkeling into genuine leisure rather than a balancing act. Shallow draft opens up the bays around Marie-Galante and the Saintes, letting you tuck into spots that deep-hulled boats can't reach. That beam—the space between the hulls—transforms a week aboard into something broader than a conventional sailing holiday. Twelve guests have actual room to move. From Guadeloupe's protected waters, you have the Îles de la Petite Terre within reach, coral gardens underfoot, and villages with real character. A bareboat week here means no surprises beyond weather and your own sailing decisions. The Lagoon 42's twin Yanmar engines and roller-furling sails handle cruising with steady reliability, leaving you to focus on where you want to anchor next.
