Bootscharter in Italien · Lagoon 380 S2 in Rome / Marina di Nettuno — “Kiss” — (2017)

From Rome's Marina di Nettuno, Kiss opens a week of sailing through waters few landlocked travelers ever reach. The Lagoon 380 S2 catamaran sits just an hour south of the capital, positioned to reach the Pontine Islands by morning and the Tyrrhenian coast's hidden anchorages by afternoon. This 2017 model sleeps 11 across four cabins and handles shallow bays where monohulls cannot venture. Living aboard reflects the dual-hull advantage. The wide 7-meter beam creates generous cabin spaces and a light-filled saloon that doesn't feel cramped with a full group. Two bathrooms serve the four cabins, and the trampolines stretched between the hulls offer a rare vantage point over the water. The foredeck provides real room to move and anchor watch, while the cockpit design gives helmsman and crew plenty of space without crowding. Stability at anchor matters here—Kiss sits level and steady whether the group relaxes below or stretches out on deck. The shallow draft defines what bareboat sailing from this base becomes. You can nose into Mediterranean coves, anchor in soft sand inches from the beach, and explore anchorages that larger vessels cannot reach. The Pontine Islands, the small harbors near Formia, the protected bays toward the south—all become practical destinations rather than theoretical ones. For groups and families wanting to sail together without compromise on comfort or safety, Kiss delivers both the performance and the accommodation needed for a genuine week at sea.
