Bootscharter in Britische Jungferninseln · Saona 47 in Tortola / Road Town / Fort Burt Marina — “Champs-Elysees” — (2020)

From Fort Burt Marina in Road Town, Champs-Elysees reaches the British Virgin Islands' best anchorages within hours. This 2020 Fountaine Pajot Saona 47 carries up to 10 guests across shallow bays and protected waters where monohulls cannot follow. The catamaran's twin hulls create the kind of stability that lets you relax at anchor without swinging, and they displace far less water than comparable single-hull yachts, opening access to Gorda Sound's reefs, Anegada's flats, and the quiet coves between islands. Living aboard works well for groups and families. Five cabins with five en-suite bathrooms mean everyone has privacy; the master cabin amidships takes full advantage of the beam, while guest cabins on both hulls keep things balanced. The saloon sits high and open, flooded with natural light, with the galley positioned where the cook stays connected to deck life. Stepping outside, the wide cockpit doubles as a social hub, while canvas provides shade for the long cruising days ahead. The trampoline forward catches the breeze and offers views that no cabin can match. A bareboat week from Road Town frees you to set your own rhythm. Head south toward the Baths and Virgin Gorda, east to Anegada's spear-fishing grounds and bonefishing flats, or north to Jost Van Dyke's anchorages. The shallow draft and full-batten mainsail give Champs-Elysees the range to explore where the crowds thin out, yet you're never far from provisioning, fuel, or shelter.
