Bootscharter in Britische Jungferninseln · Saona 47 in Tortola / Road Town / Fort Burt Marina — “Parrot Ice” — (2020)

Based from Tortola's Fort Burt Marina, Parrot Ice puts the British Virgin Islands within arm's reach—no long motor from here to Drake Channel, the Sir Francis Drake Channel, or the Baths. This 2020 Fountaine Pajot Saona 47 is built for that kind of effortless access, with a shallow draft that lets you anchor in bays and off beaches where other boats cannot follow. Living aboard is straightforward and roomy. Five cabins and five ensuite bathrooms mean everyone has their own retreat; the saloon works as both indoor shelter and social hub, flowing naturally into the cockpit where you steer and dine with the Caribbean around you. The forward trampolines give you a second living room entirely, a place to lounge and spot reefs while the boat moves beneath you. The foredeck stays clear for sunbathing and that uncluttered view of what's coming. Catamaran stability is the practical difference here. Two hulls anchor with real hold—no rolling at night—and they give you the interior space of a larger boat without the draft. With ten berths and room for a group or two families, Parrot Ice carries people comfortably. Bareboat means you're in command of your week: set your own pace, pick your anchorages, wake without a schedule. The BVI spreads out in every direction from here—Jost Van Dyke, Peter Island, the Coral World shallows—all within a day's sail and all reachable because of what this boat can do.
