Bootscharter in Portugal · Isla 40 in Portimao / Marina de Portimao — “Foutaine Pajot ISLA 40” — (2022)

Portimão's warm waters and sheltered bays are the natural playground for the Foutaine Pajot ISLA 40, a 2022 catamaran built for guests who want genuine comfort without sacrifice. Four cabins and four ensuite bathrooms mean eight travelers can spread out properly, with private space to retreat and shared areas designed for gathering. The saloon opens to a wide cockpit, while the twin hulls support generous trampolines and a secure foredeck—the layout of a boat that knows how families and groups actually live aboard. Twin hulls change everything on the water. The ISLA 40's dual-hull design delivers the stability that transforms anchor-time into relaxation, holding steady even in moderate winds where a monohull would rock through the night. That shallow draft opens anchorages impossible for deeper keels: sandy bays, rocky inlets, and protected areas close to Portugal's dramatic Algarve cliffs. You can reach places others simply cannot, and hold position with real confidence. From Portimão, a week's cruising unfolds across one of Europe's most varied coastlines. Motor or sail east to hidden coves and limestone formations, or work west toward the wilder Atlantic headlands. The crew manages navigation and mechanics, leaving your group free to swim, explore small villages, or anchor in complete solitude. The catamaran's stability and shallow draft make this flexibility genuine—not marketing copy.
