Bootscharter in Französisch-Polynesien · Excess 11 in Papeete, Tahiti / Papeete — “Molokoi” — (2023)

Molokoi is your floating home base for exploring Tahiti and the Society Islands from Papeete. This 2023 Excess 11 gives eight guests genuine room to spread out across four separate cabins and two bathrooms, with the kind of comfort and privacy that makes longer island hops feel effortless rather than cramped. What matters most on a catamaran becomes clear the moment you anchor. Two hulls mean exceptional stability in trade winds, and a shallow draft that lets you tuck into bays and pull up to beaches other boats cannot reach. Above and below deck, the wide beam delivers space that feels generous—the saloon becomes a genuine gathering spot, the cockpit gives everyone a place to work or relax, and the trampolines forward let you drift and watch the water while the boat holds steady beneath you. Based in Papeete, a week's cruising opens up the dramatic volcanic peaks of Bora Bora and Raiatea, the sheltered lagoons of the Society Islands, and day sails to anchorages where you'll find pristine coral and white-sand shores. Whether you're sailing between islands or spending a day at anchor, Molokoi's predictable handling and reliable twin engines give you the freedom to focus on why you came: the water, the islands, and the company aboard.
