Location de bateau a French Riviera (Côte d'Azur) · Lagoon 40 in Hyeres — “Fil'eole” — (2021)

Hyères is where Mediterranean sailing happens: you're minutes from the Îles d'Hyères with their protected anchorages, and the Lagoon 40 is built for exactly this cruising ground. Fil'eole arrives as a 2021 model with four cabins and two bathrooms spread across twin hulls, sleeping ten guests comfortably whether you're chartering with a large family or splitting costs among friends. The catamaran's width and shallow draft let you anchor where monohulls cannot—in bays tucked behind Porquerolles, near the white sand beaches only accessible by water, or in the calm shallows around Port-Cros. You'll feel the stability at anchor that matters after a long day on deck. The trampolines strung between the hulls give you sun-soaked social space forward, while the foredeck becomes your vantage point for spotting fish and watching the approach to each new bay. Below, the split cabin layout keeps the saloon open and bright without the isolation that makes some boats feel cramped; the cockpit works as a natural gathering point, whether you're motoring through flat water or sailing in the Mistral. A week from Hyères can push north toward the Estérel rocks and Saint-Tropez, or meander south toward the Porquerolles archipelago, stopping at working fishing villages and untouched anchorages. The bareboat charter gives you freedom to build your own itinerary across water that rewards both adventure and anchoring still.
