Location de bateau a French Riviera (Côte d'Azur) · Aura 51 in Hyeres — “Dédé” — (2024)

Departing from Hyères, Dédé puts you within sailing distance of the Îles d'Hyères, the Porquerolles archipelago, and the sheltered bays that dot the eastern Côte d'Azur. This 2024 Fountaine Pajot Aura 51 is built for the specific challenges and rewards of Mediterranean bareboat cruising, combining a shallow 1.25-meter draft with the beam and stability that matter when anchoring off beaches or exploring narrow creek systems where monohulls cannot follow. Life aboard centres on the open-plan saloon and galley, positioned between the two hulls to maximize natural light and headroom across the boat's generous width. Six cabins with six en-suite bathrooms mean your crew or family splits the space comfortably, each with privacy and morning routines that never collide. The saloon serves as social hub and dining space, while the aft cockpit functions as an outdoor living room. Above, the trampolines bridge the hulls—a genuine feature of catamaran ownership where crew can relax while the boat sits still at anchor, and where children can safely play in calm waters. The twin-hull design delivers practical advantages beyond comfort. At anchor, Dédé holds position without rolling, even in modest swell. That shallow draft opens anchorages a bareboat skipper would otherwise skip. With capacity for 12 guests, six cabins, and systems designed for cruising independence, this boat transforms a week in Provence into something genuinely different from land-based holidays. You move at the pace of wind and tide, waking to new water each morning.
