Boat charter in Belize · Leopard 46 in Placencia — “Moorings 4600 - 4 Exclusive Plus” — (2026)

Placencia's shallow bays and protected lagoons are built for the Leopard 46's shallow draft—you can anchor close to white-sand beaches and explore waters where monohull yachts cannot reach. The twin hulls keep the Moorings 4600 - 4 Exclusive Plus steady at rest, with minimal swing, so your group sleeps well even when anchored on soft sand. The wide platform between the two hulls creates a sense of security underfoot, especially valuable when traveling with families or less experienced sailors. Below deck, four cabins and four bathrooms mean no queuing and genuine privacy for ten guests. The master suite sits forward with an ensuite; three further cabins serve the saloon level, each with private facilities. Topside, the open cockpit and trampolines define life aboard—the twin-hull beam gives you sprawling deck space for sunbathing, watching reef life, or simply gathering for meals. The saloon sits bright and ventilated between the hulls, out of the heat yet open to the sea breeze. From Placencia, you have the Silk Cayes within a day's sail, Half Moon Caye just beyond, and the Thatch Caye group waiting south. Whether you want to dive the Turneffe Atoll, snorkel coral gardens, or drift between palm-fringed islands, the stability and spacious layout of this catamaran make a bareboat week manageable and genuinely pleasurable. The twin-hull design is not luxury theater—it is practical advantage, measured in comfort and reach.
