Boat charter in Grenada · Leopard 42 in Grenada / St. George's / Port Louis Marina — “Moorings 4200/3 Exclusive Plus” — (2025)

Based in Grenada's protected Port Louis Marina, the Moorings 4200/3 Exclusive Plus offers a rare combination of space and shallow-water capability for Caribbean bareboat cruising. The Leopard 42's twin hulls create a platform stable enough to anchor confidently in open water, yet with a draft of just 1.35 meters, you can reach anchorages and beach approaches where single-hull boats simply cannot go. For groups and families, the layout delivers genuine privacy: three separate cabins sleep eight comfortably, while four bathrooms mean no queuing during morning routines. Living aboard reveals how thoughtfully catamarans use their width. The saloon sits between the two hulls, with wide windows framing the anchorage ahead. The cockpit provides shelter and room to move, with the expansive trampolines forward offering a unique gathering spot where passengers can watch dolphins or simply float above shallow turquoise water. Below deck, the cabin and bathroom configuration keeps guests separated and self-contained, essential when sharing a charter with other families or friends. From Port Louis, a week's sailing spans the Grenadines with genuine freedom. Shallow bays near Carriacou become accessible; the calm waters between islands suit confident and cautious sailors alike. The beam width and stability mean the boat handles whatever weather develops on the passage south, while reliable engines back up the sails for consistent progress. This is cruising designed around how people actually live and move together on water.
