Boat charter in Mexico · Leopard 42 in La Paz / Marina CostaBaja — “Moorings 4200/3 Exclusive Plus” — (2025)

La Paz offers a gateway to the Sea of Cortez that few other bases can match, and the Moorings 4200/3 Exclusive Plus puts eight guests exactly where they want to be. From Marina CostaBaja, you're positioned to reach pristine anchorages, remote islands, and sheltered bays within hours, not days. The dual-hulled design transforms what could be a crowded experience into something genuinely comfortable: four full bathrooms and three cabins mean nobody's queuing, while the shallow draft opens access to beaches and shallow anchorages where monohulls simply can't reach. Living aboard combines practicality with breathing room. The saloon runs the full width of the bridging structure, giving headroom and light that narrow monohulls struggle to match. The galley sits at the heart of things, the cockpit becomes your outdoor living space, and the trampolines forward offer a completely different way to experience the water. Two hulls mean stability at anchor—no constant swinging and rocking—and genuine comfort in anything from light winds to moderate sea states. The 2025 Leopard 42 is built for this kind of bareboat freedom. A week's cruising from La Paz gives you the Sea of Cortez's best diving and snorkeling, dramatic desert coastlines, and enough anchorages that no two charters need follow the same route. Fuel efficiency extends your range, freshwater capacity sustains your independence, and the straightforward systems reward anyone confident enough to take the helm.
