Boat charter in Italy · Leopard 42 in Procida / Marina di Procida — “Moorings 4200/4 Club” — (2023)

Procida's sheltered anchorages and nearby islands reward a catamaran that can hold position confidently while you settle in for the evening. The Moorings 4200/4 Club, a 2023 Leopard 42, delivers that stability through its twin hulls while drawing minimal water, letting you slip into shallow bays and beach more easily than monohull competitors. For ten guests spread across four cabins and four bathrooms, the dual-hull platform creates room to breathe—the 8-meter beam opens up deck space that feels generous rather than crowded, with trampolines strung between the bows and a foredeck spacious enough for morning coffee or evening stargazing. Below deck, cabins tuck into each hull, keeping the saloon central and social. The layout works for families rotating through privacy or groups planning shared meals, with full en-suite bathrooms reducing queuing frustrations. Topside, the cockpit seats comfortably and offers protection, while the wide sidedecks make movement safe and the outer platforms ideal for swimming stops or simply soaking up the view. From Procida, a week's cruise reaches Capri's dramatic cliffs, Ischia's volcanic beaches, and the quieter coves of the Tyrrhenian archipelago. The catamaran's shallow draft opens anchorages that deeper-keeled boats cannot reach, while the twin-engine reliability and broad deck space mean less time fussing with the boat and more time exploring ashore or anchoring where the scenery stops conversation.
