Boat charter in Dodecanese · Lagoon 42 in Rhodes New Marina — “Ionas” — (2020)

Ionas sits ready at Rhodes New Marina, positioned perfectly for a week exploring the Dodecanese and beyond. This 2020 Lagoon 42 sleeps ten across six cabins, with five bathrooms distributed throughout—a practical setup that keeps a group or extended family comfortable without the crowding that comes with monohull charter boats. The catamaran's two hulls make all the difference in how she performs. At anchor, that wide beam locks you steady even as evening breezes pick up, so there's no rolling through the night. The shallow draft opens access to the bays and sandy approaches where conventional yachts can't venture—places that matter when you're chasing quiet swims and untouched anchorages. On deck, the bridging structure between the hulls creates space you simply don't get elsewhere: wide trampolines for morning coffee or afternoon reading, a foredeck generous enough for the whole crew to gather without feeling packed in. Down below, the saloon is your gathering space, with the cockpit outside for steering watch or evening drinks. Six private cabins mean people can retreat when they need to. The bathrooms are distributed so mornings don't become a bottleneck. Light floods through windows across the width of the boat, and modern systems keep the Mediterranean heat manageable. Rhodes New Marina is your launch point into islands and anchorages that define Greek sailing—close enough to Turkish coast for day sails, far enough from tourist crowds to find your own rhythm. Bareboat charter from here puts you in control of where each day takes you.
