Boat charter in Spain · Lagoon 42 in Ibiza / Marina Port Ibiza — “Odessa” — (2022)

Bareboat sailing from Ibiza opens up the Balearics on a scale that suits groups and families perfectly. Odessa, a 2022 Lagoon 42, sleeps 12 across four separate cabins, each with its own ensuite bathroom—a layout that keeps everyone comfortable and gives real privacy. The main saloon runs the full beam between the twin hulls, creating an unusually spacious gathering space that stays cool and dry even when conditions build, while the cockpit offers shelter or open-air control depending on how you want to sail. The catamaran's dual-hull design proves itself from the moment you anchor. Stability without heel means plates don't slide and children sleep undisturbed. The shallow draft, typically around 1.2 metres, lets you approach small beaches and quiet bays that monohulls cannot reach, making anchorages personal rather than crowded. Trampolines stretched between the bows create an open-air lounge that catches every breeze and sunset, while the broad foredecks give the crew real room to work. From Marina Port Ibiza, you're positioned for serious range. Formentera lies just south for turquoise water and sand bars. The north coast runs to hidden anchorages and pine-backed coves. Push further toward Majorca or Menorca if the week and wind allow. A catamaran of this size, with straightforward sail handling and reliable engines, carries capability rather than complexity—leaving you focused on the sailing itself and the islands ahead.
