Boat charter in Greece · Lagoon 42 in Porto Heli — “AURA” — (2024)

Porto Heli sits at the gateway to Greece's most rewarding sailing grounds—the Peloponnese, Saronic Islands, and the protected waters of the Argolic Gulf. AURA, a 2024 Lagoon 42, is built to make the most of these waters with a shallow 1.3-meter draft that lets you slip into anchorages and beaches where deeper-hulled yachts cannot venture. The twin hulls deliver genuine stability whether you're at anchor or moving between islands, and that spacious 7-meter beam works hard—the trampolines catch the Aegean sun, the foredeck offers room to move, and the saloon feels open rather than cramped even with a dozen people aboard. Six separate cabins and five bathrooms mean real privacy for group charters. The layout balances comfort with practicality: cabins are sized for couples or light sleepers, bathrooms are distributed to avoid the morning queue, and the saloon becomes the natural gathering point for meals and evening conversation. Topside, the cockpit flows into the trampoline netting, creating one continuous outdoor space. The furling mainsail and jib are straightforward to handle, whether you're bareboat cruising or taking the helm yourself. A week from Porto Heli opens possibilities: sail south to the Peloponnese's sheltered coves, explore the Saronic Islands' mix of quiet anchorages and bustling towns, or push into the Argolic Gulf's calm, clear waters. The 500-liter fuel tank and 620-liter water reserves support independent cruising without constant returns to busy ports.
