Boat charter in Greece · Lagoon 42 in Volos / Port of Volos — “AF-LAG42VOL” — (2020)

Volos lies at the head of the Aegean and offers one of Greece's most versatile sailing grounds—and the AF-LAG42VOL is built to make the most of it. This 2020 Lagoon 42 sleeps 10 guests across six cabins with four bathrooms, a layout that works equally well for families travelling together or groups of friends who want both privacy and shared space. The twin-hulled design delivers what matters most on bareboat charter: a shallow draft that reaches the sandy bays and islands other boats cannot, and the stability to anchor comfortably even when the afternoon wind picks up. Life aboard centres on the wide trampolines and foredeck—genuine outdoor living space where you'll spend your best hours. The saloon opens to the cockpit so you move naturally between inside and out, and the cabin and bathroom layout across both hulls means no queues in the morning. Four bathrooms for ten people makes a genuine difference on a week-long cruise. Cooking and navigation stations are positioned to suit bareboat crews who want to be self-sufficient but not overwhelmed by complexity. From Volos you can reach the Sporades within hours, explore the Pelion coast's quiet anchorages, or push further into the Northern Aegean. The catamaran's beam and shallow draft open waters that single-hulled yachts cannot safely navigate. A week's charter from this base gives you real options: stay close to familiar islands, or use the easy handling and fuel capacity to discover something new each day.
