Boat charter in Italy · Lagoon 42 in Salerno / Marina d'Arechi — “Gamma Leonis” — (2022)

Gamma Leonis sits ready for departure at Marina d'Arechi in Salerno, positioned to reach the Amalfi Coast, Capri, and hidden bays across the Tyrrhenian Sea within hours. This 2022 Lagoon 42 is built to sleep 12 guests comfortably across four cabins, each with its own en-suite bathroom—a layout that transforms a bareboat charter from compromise into genuine comfort for families and groups. Living aboard means a catamaran's two hulls working for you. You'll notice the difference immediately at anchor: the wider beam keeps everyone level and stable, so morning coffee doesn't slosh and children sleep soundly. The shallow 1.29-meter draft opens anchorages that monohulls cannot reach—the sandy shallows off Ischia, secret coves tucked into cliff faces, and the calm waters inside protected bays. Above deck, the twin-hull design delivers the trampolines and foredeck space you'll actually use, generous enough for sunbathing, rigging work, or simply spreading out as a group without collision. The saloon stretches across the bridge deck between the hulls, flooded with light through expansive windows. The galley comes fully equipped for meal preparation, and the cockpit provides shelter and sightlines for confident sailing. With four bathrooms and plenty of cabin space, everyone retreats to privacy when needed. A week from Salerno lets you sail the Gulf of Naples, explore the islands, and return without rushing—exactly what a properly configured catamaran makes possible.
