Boat charter in Curaçao · Lagoon 42 in St. Maarten - Philipsburg / IGY Simpson Bay Marina — “Odissea” — (2025)

Sandy Ground sits at the heart of St. Martin's sailing circuit, putting Odissea within reach of French Riviera shores, island-hopping routes through the Grenadines, and quiet anchorages in Anguilla's shallow bays. As a 2025 Lagoon 42, this catamaran makes all these destinations feel intimate rather than distant—her 1.5-meter draft slides into protected waters and narrow beach approaches that monohull sailors must bypass. Eight guests spread across four cabins and four bathrooms means families travel without compromise: everyone gets privacy, space to change, and room to decompress after a day on deck. Life aboard flows naturally across Odissea's twin hulls. The saloon sits open to the cockpit, so conversations carry between the shaded interior and the helmsman's seat; the foredeck and trampolines stretch before you like an extra living room when the boat sits anchored. Four cabins occupy the hulls efficiently, each with its own head. The saloon galley keeps the chef connected rather than isolated, and storage is generous enough for a proper provisioning run. Two hulls deliver what single-hull boats cannot: the catamaran sits stable at anchor without swinging, moves through shallow waters without draft penalties, and offers the interior volume that a 42-meter monohull simply lacks. With dual engines, a mainsail that furls like a window shade, and 400 liters of fuel, Odissea carries you across open water and into the margins of the Caribbean that smaller boats fear and larger yachts cannot enter.
