Boat charter in Seychelles · Lagoon 42 in Eden Island / Mahe, Victoria / Eden Island Marina — “Alphonse” — (2020)

From Eden Island Marina in Victoria, Alphonse offers direct access to the Seychelles' scattered granite islands and protected anchorages, with shallow-draft cruising into bays and lagoons that deep-hulled monohulls cannot reach. This 2020 Lagoon 42 sleeps ten guests across six cabins and four bathrooms—a practical layout that works equally well for families spreading across the boat, groups of friends, or small corporate parties seeking privacy with shared social space. The catamaran's twin hulls define how you'll actually experience a week at sea. You gain genuine stability when anchored, minimal pitching in swell, and an island-hopping ability that suits Seychellois waters. Below, the layout flows from the split master cabins amidships through guest cabins forward and aft, with bathrooms positioned to avoid queuing frustrations. The saloon sits between the hulls where you gain natural light and headroom, while the open cockpit flows toward wide trampolines that become the boat's social hub—ideal for watching sunsets or simply floating above the water. A spacious foredeck gives you room to move, not just a cramped bow. From here, the Seychelles' charter grounds unfold: inner islands within a day's sail, snug anchorages where you can swim directly from the boat, and the flexibility to explore reef-fringed beaches accessible only by catamaran. Alphonse as a bareboat gives you complete control of your itinerary, powered by two Yanmar engines and modern sails that respond easily to a competent crew.
