Boat charter in Italy · Lagoon 42 in Sicily / Capo d'Orlando Marina — “Capovento II - Premium line” — (2023)

Capovento II - Premium line sits year-round at Capo d'Orlando Marina, positioned to reach Sicily's most rewarding sailing grounds within hours. The Lagoon 42 gives you twelve berths across four cabins plus four bathrooms—enough separation and privacy that groups and families actually enjoy their time together without the cramped feeling of smaller boats. Each cabin has its own heads, removing the morning queue entirely. On deck, the catamaran's twin hulls create a wide, stable platform perfect for anchoring in shallow bays where single-hulls cannot follow. The trampolines stretched between the two bows catch wind and sun without fuss, while the foredeck offers room to move around without feeling exposed. Below, the saloon spans the full beam, and the cockpit gives helmsman and crew open sightlines with real protection from the elements. The shallow draft—typical for Lagoon's design—opens access to hidden anchorages around the Aeolian Islands and along the Sicilian coast, places deeper keels never reach. From Capo d'Orlando, a week's charter strings together volcanic islands, turquoise coves, and centuries-old fishing villages. You get genuine choices: anchor off Vulcano for an evening swim, tuck into Filicudi's remote bays, or motor-sail to Cefalù's protected harbor before dusk. With bareboat freedom and a boat designed for confident handling, you control the pace entirely.
