Boat charter in Brazil · Lagoon 42 in Jacuecanga, Angra dos Reis (RJ) / BR Marinas Verolme — “BYC SALVADOR” — (2023)

Jacuecanga's protected waters in Angra dos Reis make an ideal home for BYC SALVADOR, where the granite islands and shallow bays demand the kind of vessel that can anchor confidently and navigate close to shore. The Lagoon 42's twin hulls provide the stability that matters when you're sitting at anchor or exploring tight anchorages, while the shallow draft opens access to pristine beaches and coves that deeper single-hulled boats cannot reach. This 2023 catamaran carries eight guests across four separate cabins, each with its own en-suite bathroom—a layout that gives everyone their private space without sacrificing the social heart of the boat. The saloon and galley occupy the bridging space between the two hulls, creating an airy core for gathering and dining. The cockpit is equally welcoming, a place to sit back and take in the scenery or manage the sails, while the twin trampolines forward offer a unique catamaran perk: somewhere to lounge and feel the spray on slower passages. From Jacuecanga, a week's bareboat charter branches in multiple directions—you might head to the outer islands, explore the quieter anchorages of the inner archipelago, or mix both. The Lagoon 42's fuel efficiency and carrying capacity let you stay out longer and venture further than many comparable boats, making every day feel genuinely different.
