Bootscharter in West Coast Central America · Power Catamaran in Baltra — “Monique cabin 4”

Departing from Baltra in the Galápagos, Monique cabin 4 offers a rare chance to explore Ecuador's legendary islands aboard a purpose-built Power Catamaran designed for group travel. With nine cabins across two hulls and eleven bathrooms, the boat distributes guests comfortably without the crowding that comes with monohulls of similar size. Each cabin sleeps two, making the vessel ideal for families and friends traveling together who want private quarters and plenty of shared space. The catamaran's layout separates social areas across the saloon and open cockpit, where natural light and sea breezes keep everyone refreshed between excursions ashore. The wide trampolines connecting the two hulls create a natural gathering point, offering views of the water and volcanic landscapes. A capacious foredeck provides space to relax or watch for wildlife as you cruise between islands. Two hulls deliver genuine advantages for Galápagos cruising. The shallow draft lets Monique cabin 4 access bays and beaches that deeper-hulled vessels cannot reach, opening access to remote anchorages. Stability at anchor means reduced motion when sitting at rest, crucial for passenger comfort during overnight stays. A week based from Baltra takes you through diverse ecosystems and wildlife encounters—from giant tortoises to endemic birds and marine iguanas—with a mobile platform that never forces compromise between capacity, comfort, and access to the islands.
