Bootscharter in Bahamas · Leopard 42 in New Providence / Nassau / Palm Cay One Marina — “Moorings 4200/3/3 Exclusive” — (2024)

Launching from Nassau's Palm Cay One Marina puts you within easy reach of the Exuma Cays and the shallow turquoise banks that define Bahamian sailing. The Moorings 4200/3/3 Exclusive, a 2024 Leopard 42, makes the most of those cruising grounds with a catamaran's shallow draft—you'll anchor in bays and approach beaches where monohull boats cannot, and stay put without the constant swing of a single keel. Below deck, three separate cabins give families and groups genuine privacy, each with its own ensuite bathroom. The saloon feels spacious, flowing naturally into the galley, and hosting dinner or playing cards works comfortably with eight aboard. Topside, the dual hulls deliver stability that matters when you're at anchor for a lazy afternoon—minimal motion means less nausea and more relaxation. The wide trampolines are where you'll spend daylight hours, and the open foredeck invites you forward to spot reefs and wildlife. At 12.67 meters, this catamaran carries fuel and water for extended independence, so a week's itinerary can follow wind and whim rather than resupply schedules. Whether your group wants to dive, fish, beach-hop, or simply sail at an easy pace, the Moorings 4200/3/3 Exclusive has the room and stability to make a week in the Bahamas feel unhurried and genuinely luxurious.
