Bootscharter in Grenada · Lagoon 46 in Grenada / St. George's / Grenada Yacht Club — “Hercules (GND)” — (2023)

From the Grenada Yacht Club, Hercules (GND) puts you within two hours' sail of the Grenadine Islands—Carriacou, Petite Martinique, and the Tobago Cays lie close enough for a morning departure and afternoon exploration. This 2023 Lagoon 46 was built to move a group comfortably between these scattered anchorages without the cramping that other charter boats impose. Below decks, four separate cabins and four bathrooms mean no waiting for showers before diving. The saloon sits at the catamaran's center, bridging both hulls with light from the cabin ports and cockpit above, and its galley has room for two cooks. The cockpit spreads across the stern, protected by a hardtop, with trampolines strung forward to catch the breeze and the view. Being built on two hulls rather than one changes everything at anchor: Hercules (GND) holds position without swinging, so the stern stays clear for swimming and tenders. The shallow 1.3-meter draft reaches into bays and beach anchorages that deeper vessels cannot touch, opening routes to the small islands and protected shorelines. The design also builds beam—there's genuine width between hulls—which translates to steady motion at sea, minimal roll, and a platform where twelve people move without crowding. Bareboat sailing from Grenada works best in this kind of boat. You navigate trades winds that push consistently, visit fishing villages and reef systems that change weekly, and anchor in waters shallow and protected enough that holding ground stays true and swimming happens safely from your own deck.
