Bootscharter in Grenada · Lagoon 42 in Grenada / St. George's / Grenada Yacht Club — “Copernicus (GND)” — (2020)

Moored at the Grenada Yacht Club in St. George's, Copernicus (GND) sits ready to launch week-long expeditions through the Windward Islands. This 2020 Lagoon 42 gives groups and families the rare advantage of dual hulls: absolute stability when anchored in rolling waters, a shallow draft that slides into bays and beaches deeper boats cannot access, and the generous beam that makes space feel abundant rather than compromised. Four cabins and four bathrooms mean 12 guests enjoy genuine privacy—no shared facilities or cramped berths that come with traditional monohulls. Life on board flows naturally across connected spaces. The saloon sits bright and open, hosting meals and evening gatherings. The cockpit provides shelter for watching sunsets or managing the twin diesels and furling sails. Outside, trampolines stretch between the hulls, delivering unobstructed views and the sensation of floating rather than being confined. The foredeck invites early risers to watch dolphins or trade winds reshape the anchorage. From St. George's, a bareboat week opens the waters between Grenada and Union Island—the Tobago Cays, Diamond Island, Palm Island, and countless unnamed anchorages with sand and reef. Consistent trade winds support both sailing and motoring. The Lagoon 42's design handles this spectrum effortlessly: responsive enough for active sailors, stable and spacious enough for those who simply want to drop anchor and exist differently for seven days.
