Bootscharter in Italien · Lagoon 440 in Naples / Darsena Acton — “Dory” — (2009)

Moored at Naples' Darsena Acton, Dory sits ready to unlock a week of Mediterranean cruising from one of Italy's most storied ports. This Lagoon 440 catamaran gives eight guests the rare comfort of four separate cabins and four bathrooms—a layout that transforms group sailing from compromise into genuine relaxation. Each cabin is naturally lit and thoughtfully positioned across the twin hulls, while the bathrooms offer genuine privacy, a luxury aboard most charter boats. On deck, the catamaran's 7.84-meter beam creates an expanse that feels more like a floating platform than a boat. The trampolines stretch across the bows, the foredeck opens up for anchor watches or simple stargazing, and the cockpit anchors everything with its sheltered helm and generous seating. The saloon flows naturally between indoor and outdoor living, with large windows framing your anchorage and a galley equipped for proper meals. Two hulls mean something concrete here. Dory sits stable at anchor—no uncomfortable rolling when the wind drops. The shallow 1.25-meter draft carries you into bays and beside beaches where deeper keeled yachts cannot follow. From Naples, a week unfolds with genuine choice: the dramatic spine of the Amalfi Coast, quiet island anchorages, or the Campania coast's hidden coves. With professional crew on board, you navigate, anchor, and explore. Dory simply handles the sailing.
