Bootscharter in French Riviera (Côte d'Azur) · Lagoon 400 S2 in Hyeres — “Opale 4” — (2014)

From Hyeres, Opale 4 puts the Îles d'Hyères and the Esterel coast within easy reach, letting you anchor where monohulls draw too deep. This 2014 Lagoon 400 S2 sleeps eight across four cabins—enough for two families or a group of friends—with two full bathrooms so mornings run smoothly. The layout flows naturally: a galley and saloon on the bridgedeck catch the breeze, while the cockpit and twin helms give every crew member a view and a voice in sailing her. Life aboard spreads across both hulls and up. Step onto the wide trampolines and foredeck to feel the boat's beam and stability, or relax in the shade with the water inches below. Two hulls mean you're rock-solid at anchor in the bays around Porquerolles or Port-Cros, and that shallow draft opens up the shallow anchorages and beach stops that make this coast special. The catamaran's steady platform and generous room make it easy for mixed ability sailors—pure serenity for newcomers, genuine sailing for those who want it. A week from Hyeres gives you time to work eastward toward Saint-Tropez or linger among the islands, exploring quiet corners by day and waking to different views each morning. Opale 4 handles herself well under sail or power, and her design does the thinking for you.
