Bootscharter in French Riviera (Côte d'Azur) · Lagoon 380 in Hyeres — “Tarawa 3” — (2019)

Bareboat sailing from Hyeres puts you within striking distance of the Iles d'Hyeres, the hidden coves between Toulon and Saint-Tropez, and the sheltered waters where the Lagoon 380 genuinely excels. Tarawa 3, built in 2019, benefits from the catamaran's defining advantages: twin hulls deliver stability that matters when you're anchored off a quiet beach, a shallow 1.2-meter draft that opens shallow bays and smaller harbors to nine guests, and a 6.5-meter beam that makes the interior feel genuinely spacious rather than cramped. Below deck, four cabins arrange across both hulls with dedicated bathrooms, so groups split naturally between hulls and no one queues for the shower. The saloon sits centrally where natural light floods through windows on both sides. On deck, the wide platform between hulls becomes your living room—a vast trampoline area for reading, sunbathing, or watching the water. The foredeck offers another sweep of space for anchoring or simply stretching out. The cockpit is well-sheltered, with furling sails that make sail handling straightforward for bareboat sailors of varying experience. A week from Hyeres means charting your own course through Mediterranean sailing. Twin Yammer engines give you the autonomy to reach isolated anchorages, while adequate fuel and water reserves let you stay out longer between port stops. Whether you prioritize secluded swimming spots, quiet overnight anchorages, or small French villages, Tarawa 3 gives your group the room to move as one and the boat stability to enjoy it in genuine comfort.
