Bootscharter in Kroatien · Lagoon 40 in Šibenik / D-Marin Marina Mandalina — “DUPLO II” — (2023)

From D-Marin Marina Mandalina in Šibenik, DUPLO II puts the best of Croatia's coast within easy reach. This 2023 Lagoon 40 works hard for groups and families, with six cabins and four bathrooms spread across two hulls—enough comfort that nobody feels crowded, even after a week together. The saloon opens onto a cockpit built for lounging and sailing, while the wide trampolines and foredeck give everyone space to move, sunbathe, or simply watch the islands slip by. Two hulls change everything about how a catamaran sits at anchor. DUPLO II holds steady in wind and swell that would have a monohull swinging and rolling, so rest comes easier in the coves and bays you'll choose. The shallow 1.2-meter draft means you can anchor off sandy beaches and explore tight channels into protected harbors that deeper boats cannot enter. This draught also means the boat responds quickly to the helm and moves efficiently through water, whether you're making passages between islands or nosing into quiet corners. Šibenik sits at the mouth of the Krka River, with its UNESCO-listed waterfalls just inland and the Dalmatian islands spreading south. A week's charter from here could explore medieval stone towns, remote anchorages, and the clear water that makes the Adriatic special. The bareboat setup gives you the boat, the route, and the freedom to move at your own pace.
