Bootscharter in St. Martin · Samana 59 in Saint Martin / Anse Marcel / Marina de L'Anse Marcel — “OKINAWA” — (2024)

Anchored at Anse Marcel on the French side of Saint Martin, OKINAWA puts you within easy reach of the archipelago's most rewarding sailing grounds—the shallow bays of Anguilla to the north, the Grenadines to the south, and countless protected anchorages where the catamaran's shallow draft opens up beaches and coves that monohulls cannot access. On board, five spacious cabins spread across the catamaran's twin hulls ensure each guest has a private en-suite bathroom, a rare comfort on sailing yachts. The expansive saloon sits between the hulls, creating a naturally cool gathering space that overlooks the trampolines and foredeck, while the wide cockpit gives your crew room to work and guests room to relax. The two hulls do more than just provide layout flexibility: they deliver genuine stability at anchor, eliminating the roll that makes some sailors queasy, and generate living space that a single hull cannot match. With 10 berths across the 18.78-metre Fountaine Pajot Samana 59, OKINAWA works equally well for a group of friends, a multi-generational family, or a corporate gathering seeking an intimate island experience. Your crewed charter handles the logistics and navigation, freeing you to savour morning swims from the trampolines, sunset passages between islands, and the quiet rhythm of Caribbean cruising. From Anse Marcel, a week's itinerary can easily sweep through the British and US Virgin Islands or trace the arc of the Grenadines—each day revealing new anchorages and the kind of wind and water that made these waters a sailor's destination.
