Bootscharter in Italien · Aura 51 in Sardinia / Cannigione — “Papa Charlie - A/C, Generator, Water maker” — (2023)

Anchored in Cannigione, Papa Charlie - A/C, Generator, Water maker sits ready to explore Sardinia's northern coast, where shallow granite coves and protected bays reward the shallow draft that defines catamaran sailing. This 2023 Fountaine Pajot Aura 51 splits her living space across two hulls, giving each of the four cabins direct access to hull or saloon, and distributing four separate bathrooms so your group moves through the morning without crowding. The main saloon sits open to the cockpit, creating a natural flow for eight guests to gather over meals or watch the islands pass. Above deck, the bridging trampolines connect both hulls—ideal for morning coffee or afternoon naps—while the foredeck spreads wide enough for the whole party to enjoy the sun without jostling. Two hulls mean three things here. At anchor, you sit rock-still in a seabreeze, no swinging that pulls your schedule tight. Shallow draft carries you into bays where monohulls cannot follow, letting you discover beaches and anchorages that others miss. And the sheer width creates the space a larger party needs: families don't overlap, friends keep their rhythm, and the feeling of room matters after a week at sea. From Cannigione, a week opens onto the Maddalena archipelago, the Emerald Coast, and down to Porto Cervo. The Aura's water maker and generator mean you stay independent of shore, and air conditioning in each cabin keeps the Mediterranean heat manageable between days of exploration.
