Bootscharter in Dodecanese · Excess 14 in Rhodes New Marina — “LA VITA E BELLA” — (2025)

Rhodes New Marina puts you minutes away from the Dodecanese islands—Symi, Tilos, and the bays around Datça are all within easy reach for a week's sailing. LA VITA E BELLA, a 2025 Excess 14, makes getting there straightforward. Four cabins and four bathrooms mean every guest has genuine privacy, with the master suite and three further sleeping spaces allowing flexible arrangements for families or friends travelling together. The catamaran's two hulls give you real advantages beyond the saloon and cockpit comfort. At anchor, the beam provides natural stability that lets you relax without the constant movement of monohull sailing. The shallow draft opens up the kind of anchorages other boats cannot reach—sandy bays, rocky coves, and protected waters where you can beach and explore. Eleven berths across the four cabins let you invite friends without cramping the cruising experience. Living aboard works well here. The saloon is the social hub, with good headroom and visibility to the water. The cockpit gives you sheltered steering and dining space, while the bridging trampolines between the hulls create extra deck area for sunbathing and gathering. The foredeck is roomy enough to handle anchoring or line work without the usual scramble. This is how the Excess 14 manages both performance and livability, delivering the space of a much larger boat without the complexity.
