Bootscharter in Kroatien · Excess 14 in Skradin / ACI Marina Skradin — “First Journey” — (2024)

Skradin's position at the Krka River mouth makes it an ideal launchpad for exploring the central Dalmatian coast, and First Journey is built to make that week of cruising genuinely manageable for a larger group. The 2024 Excess 14 accommodates 12 guests across 6 cabins with 4 bathrooms—enough privacy and comfort that group dynamics stay positive through a week at sea. Each cabin is compact but well-designed, and the four separate bathrooms eliminate the queue tensions that plague smaller boats. Living aboard comes down to how a catamaran uses its space differently. The twin hulls create a saloon and galley down below that feel open and level, while the twin-hull platform means you can anchor in 1.2 meters and not worry about rolling through the night. The broad beam gives you real foredeck space and proper trampolines between the hulls—places to sprawl out, read, and feel the motion of the water without feeling trapped. The cockpit is the boat's true living room: sheltered, sociable, and practical for both sailing and at-anchor entertaining. Two hulls also mean shallow-draft freedom—you'll reach the quiet bays and beach anchorages near Pasman and Kornati that deeper monohulls simply can't access. Bareboat from Skradin puts the Dalmatian islands within reach and the Krka estuary at your fingertips. A week gives you time to make real choices: chase wind and islands, or anchor long and explore medieval villages on foot. First Journey handles either way confidently.
