Bootscharter in Frankreich · Excess 11 in Corsica / Ajaccio / Port Tino Rossi — “ADOC” — (2024)

From Port Tino Rossi in Ajaccio, the 2024 Excess 11 catamaran ADOC puts eight guests within reach of Corsica's most rewarding anchorages and the islands beyond. This arrangement works because of what a second hull delivers: stability when anchored in the bay, shallow 1.2-meter draft to nose into beaches and coves that deeper boats must skip, and side-by-side cabin layout that never forces cramped quarters on a group. Below decks, ADOC houses six cabins across two hulls, each with private berths and natural light. The two bathrooms serve the spread efficiently, while the central saloon connects both sides with galley, dining, and navigation stations. On deck, the wide beam creates an expansive cockpit for steering and socializing, protected trampolines forward for sunbathing, and a foredeck that feels purposeful rather than squeezed. The split layout means families and friends anchor together without collision, and someone seeking solitude can find it in their own hull. A week sailing from Ajaccio opens the Îles Sanguinaires to the southwest, the granite peaks of Scandola to the north, and the quieter anchorages around Pianosa and Montecristo. Twin engines and a furling sail system keep the boat manageable for bareboat skippers, whether you motor through flat calms or sail through the Tyrrhenian's afternoon breeze. ADOC works equally well as a family home afloat or a platform for diving, snorkeling, and exploring on your own terms.
