Bootscharter in Neuseeland · Bali 4.5 in Paihia / Bay of Islands — “Serenity” — (2016)

Serenity sits ready at Paihia, poised to unlock the Bay of Islands' 144 islands, sheltered anchorages, and hidden coves. This 2016 Bali 4.5 catamaran is built for the kind of cruising where you can nose into shallow bays and beach anchorages that monohulls cannot reach, then hold rock-steady at anchor while the wind picks up around you. That's what twin hulls deliver: a beamy, stable platform that turns tight quarters into comfort zones. Four cabins and four ensuite bathrooms mean no queue at the sink and genuine privacy for eight guests. The saloon flows generously across the bridge deck between the hulls, catching light and air. The cockpit gives you open sky and 360-degree sightlines, while forward the trampolines stretch across the bows—a second living room where you drift and read while the islands frame the horizon. This layout works for families, friend groups, or couples seeking space that doesn't feel cramped. A professional crew handles the sailing, meal preparation, and local knowledge. Spend your days exploring Maori heritage sites, casting lines for snapper and kingfish, or simply anchoring in clear water with nothing between you and the sky. The Bay's geography rewards the shallow-draft advantage: you can anchor where other boats cannot, and a catamaran's stability means gentle swinging and peaceful sleep. Serenity transforms a week into something unhurried and genuinely spacious.
