From Hyeres, Grelots reaches the hidden coves of the Îles d'Hyères and the sheltered anchorages that dot the Var coastline. A Nautitech 40 Open built in 2021, this catamaran's shallow 1.15-meter draft lets you beach near Porquerolles or drop anchor in places where deeper-hulled boats cannot venture. Eight guests spread across four cabins means families and friend groups each get their own sleeping quarters, while two bathrooms keep mornings manageable. The saloon sits between the hulls, well away from spray, and flows naturally into the cockpit—the nerve center for sailing and the social heart for sunbathing on deck.

The trampolines strung between the two hulls are where bareboat sailors discover one of catamaran cruising's real advantages: a stable platform that doesn't heel and roll like a monohull.
