The catamaran's twin hulls create the stable platform that defines modern sailing: at anchor in a bay, you'll notice the absence of motion that monohull sailors accept as normal. That same shallow draft opens access to the turquoise anchorages and protected coves around Mahe and beyond, waters where deeper-hulled boats simply cannot venture.
