From Marina Bas-du-Fort, Solara opens the arc of islands between Guadeloupe and the Grenadines—a week's sailing that moves through protected passages, anchorages in shallow bays, and stops where the chart offers both isolation and resupply. The Lagoon 43's twin hulls sit light in these waters, drawing less draft than a monohull and holding position without swinging, which matters when you're anchored among boats or tucked into a reef-edged cove.

Living aboard for a week means six cabins spread across two hulls, each with private access and headroom that lets you move freely. Four bathrooms serve ten guests without the negotiation that cramps other charters. The main saloon sits high between the hulls, catching cross-ventilation and views; the galley opens to it, so cooking and company happen together. Topside, the bridgedeck cockpit gives the helmsman shelter and good sight lines, while the trampolines and foredeck become your territory to claim—stretched out with a book, or watching dolphins pass below the bows.

Two hulls mean stability that feels different underway and at anchor. In the trade winds, Solara sits level rather than heeled, easier on the crew and easier on full glasses and sleep. At anchor, there's no rocking, no pendulum swing. That combination of shallow draft and beam gives you freedom: anchorages most keelboats can't reach, room to move without feeling crowded, and a platform solid enough that ten people can gather on deck without anyone gripping the rail.
