Launching from Tropea puts you into one of Italy's most dramatic coastlines—the Calabrian shore rises steeply behind the town, and the sea stretches across toward Sicily's mountains. Easy to love, a 2022 Lagoon 42, is built to make the most of these waters and the week ahead of you.

Five cabins and five bathrooms mean 11 guests move through the boat without the tight quarters that sometimes plague big groups. The layout splits space thoughtfully: forward cabins perch in each hull, the master suite anchors the center, and common areas open generously across the saloon and cockpit. A separate crew cabin offers flexibility for longer trips. Topside, wide trampolines stretch between the bows, and the foredeck gives everyone a place to move forward without crowding the helm.

The catamaran's two hulls do specific work here. At anchor, you sit steadier, rolling less in any swell. The shallow draft—a catamaran's real advantage—lets you reach the small beaches and rocky coves that monohulls can't approach.
