From Marina di Portisco, ICE CAT opens up a week of sailing around some of the Mediterranean's most protected waters. This 2018 Lagoon 42 catamaran sits at the heart of Sardinia's Costa Smeralda, where shallow bays, granite coves, and anchorages tucked behind islands wait within easy reach.

Living aboard works well for groups and families. Six separate cabins give everyone their own space, while four bathrooms mean no morning queues. The saloon sits between the two hulls, creating a bright central gathering space for meals and conversation, and the cockpit extends naturally from it—ideal for steering, watching sunsets, or just sitting with a cold drink. Forward, twin trampolines stretch between the hulls, the best spot to feel the breeze and water while anchored.

Two hulls matter more than hull colour. The catamaran's shallow draft lets you explore beaches and bays that monohulls cannot reach; you can anchor close to shore and practically step into the water. That beam—the space between the two hulls—gives ICE CAT the stability to sit comfortably at anchor even when the wind picks up, and enough room on deck for ten people to move without crowding. You get the comfort of a spacious platform, not the pitch and heel of a narrower boat. For a bareboat week, this means confident sailing, relaxed anchoring, and genuine comfort for the whole group.
