Le Marin in Martinique puts Utopia at the gateway to the Windward Islands—close enough to reach Dominica's anchorages by noon, yet sheltered enough for a leisurely morning in the bay. This 2018 Lagoon 42 sleeps ten guests across four cabins, each with its own head and shower, so nobody waits for a turn at dawn. The main saloon sits between the two hulls, bridging the structural advantage that defines catamaran cruising: the space itself feels generous without being cramped, and the wide sidescreens open the whole interior to breeze and light.

Two hulls mean real stability at rest, which matters most when you anchor for three days rather than three hours. The shallow draft of five feet lets Utopia reach the white-sand shallows near Saintes and Bequia that monohulls cannot touch. On deck, the wide trampoline nets strung between the hulls become a second saloon—guests sunbathe, read, and watch fish while the boat barely moves. The forward platform extends beyond many monohulls, giving enough room to anchor without crowding.

From Le Marin, a week opens onto the Grenadines to the south or the Pitons to the north.
