This 2024 Lagoon 42 sleeps ten across six cabins with five bathrooms, making it genuinely practical for two families or a group seeking personal space rather than compromise.

The catamaran's dual hulls deliver stability that matters when you anchor in the bays and small harbors that dot Croatia's coast. You'll sit level at rest, not heeled over, and the 1.25-meter shallow draft reaches places monohull sailors cannot—think protected coves between larger islands, or beaching stops where the water shelves gently. Onboard, the wide bridge deck connects both hulls into one generous social space. The saloon flows into the raised cockpit, where the trampolines and open foredeck extend your living area into fresh air and sun. Four cabins nestle in the hulls for quiet sleeping; two more offer alternatives for mixed groups or family configurations.

From Skradin, a week's cruising carries you toward the Kornati islands and down to Dalmatia's medieval towns, or upriver to explore quieter channels and fishing villages. Twin engines and reliable sails give you flexibility in variable Adriatic wind. With 400 liters of fuel and 500 liters of water storage, you move between the coast's best anchorages with genuine range. First Adventure works as bareboat, so you chart your own course and timing at your own pace.
