From Alimos Marina in Athens, Lazuli reaches the Cyclades in a morning sail and the quieter Sporades by evening—a catamaran with genuine depth for a week's exploration. This 2020 Fountaine Pajot Elba 45 carries twelve guests across waters that reward both seasoned sailors and those new to group cruising.

Living aboard means real separation between quarters. Four cabins and four bathrooms distributed across the twin hulls mean couples or families find privacy without crowding. The saloon sits between the hulls with views forward and aft, while the cockpit gives helmspeople and crew full command of deck. Trampolines span the bridging structure—a genuine second deck where guests relax, sunbathe, or watch dolphins in the Aegean swell. The wide foredeck, signature of Fountaine Pajot's generous beam, provides secure space for anchor work and forward exploration.

Two hulls matter here. Stability lies deeper than it does on monohulls; Lazuli sits flat even when anchored, making ship-to-shore dinghies predictable and the saloon comfortable for meals in a breeze. The 1.5-metre draft opens anchorages that deeper boats cannot reach—white sand bays and island coves where charter fleets rarely venture.
