This 2003 Fountaine Pajot Athena 38 trades length for beam—at 11.60 metres she turns nimble in tight channels and settles confidently in the bay-side spots where larger monohulls cannot reach.

The twin-hulled design means different things on different days. At anchor, the broad platform between the hulls keeps her steady when wind picks up, and her shallow draft opens routes into mangrove creeks and beach approaches that deeper boats skip.
