Najam plovila u Francuska · TS 42 in Plèneuf-Val-Andrè / Port Dahouët — “CASTOR” — (2016)

Port Dahouët sits at the heart of the Emerald Coast, a gateway to Brittany's island-dotted bays, shallow anchorages, and riverside towns that reward bareboat sailors willing to venture beyond the main channels. CASTOR, a 2016 TS 42, launches you into this landscape with the practical advantages that define modern catamaran cruising. Her three cabins sleep eight guests across two hulls, with two bathrooms that spare families and groups the morning queue. The cabin layout maximizes headroom and privacy, while the saloon sits between the hulls where natural light and ventilation make the communal heart of your week afloat. What sets a catamaran like CASTOR apart is how her two hulls work for you at anchor. That wide, stable platform means minimal rolling at rest, so mornings feel less like waking on a moored buoy and more like sleeping in an anchorage. The shallow draft of 0.75 meters opens beaches and bay backwaters closed to deeper-hulled boats. On deck, the trampolines and foredeck give you genuine outdoor living space—a place to sit and watch the coast drift by, or to spread out without feeling cramped as a crew or family. The cockpit keeps watch and control efficient, while sailing the TS 42 is intuitive enough for experienced bareboat sailors to manage alone, yet forgiving enough that pairs can handle her comfortably. From Port Dahouët, a week's cruising reaches the Bay of Saint-Briac, the islands of Chausey, and the Rance River estuary—waters where CASTOR's combination of space, stability, and shallow draft becomes your real advantage.
