Najam plovila u Francuska · Maldives 32 in Arzon / Port du Crouesty — “Smiley” — (1989)

From Arzon's Port du Crouesty, Smiley sits ready to unlock the Gulf of Morbihan's labyrinth of islands and hidden creeks—waters that reward a catamaran's shallow draft and forgiving maneuvers. This 1989 Maldives 32 has been built to live lightly in those tight spaces, drawing minimal water while keeping eight guests stable, safe, and comfortable. Life aboard centers on connection. Four cabins mean families and friend groups each claim their own berth, while the single bathroom serves the flow of daily routines without fuss. The saloon runs the length of the cabin trunk, hosting group meals and quiet hours with equal ease. Topside, the cockpit gives helm and crew commanding sightlines; the trampolines and foredeck beckon for sunbathing or the simple pleasure of being held between two hulls as they move through water. A catamaran's beams do that—they anchor you steadily even on a windy day, and they spread the living space so nothing feels cramped. This is bareboat sailing for those ready to make their own decisions: where to drop anchor in the morning, which village café to find at lunch, whether today's wind calls for motorsailing or hanging tight in a sheltered bay. Smiley's simplicity and proven systems mean less fiddling with gear, more time absorbing the Breton coast. The Gulf spreads wide with possibilities—pick your own route, set your own pace, and sail home knowing you've lived on the water as the region intended.
